In short, YES! Having a coach can help increase your success compared to going it alone. A goal can seem like a straight shot but is often met with peaks, trenches, plateaus, and detours. A large goal is great destination. Having small realistic goals will help you enjoy the journey along the way. A coach will keep you in the right direction by providing you the correct education and guidance based off your goals.
However, if you have a serious medical condition. It may be required to see your health care provider or perform Physical Therapy before engaging in Fitness Coaching. If you are unsure, we offer short Q & A consults to assist in your decision making.
There are many different programs and trainers out there. If your goals require in person assistance or wish to find the cheapest option, we may not be for you. Training in person allows you to have a physical appointment in the gym where they can monitor your form and [hopefully] make the correct adjustments on the fly. In a big box gym, you may be matched with a trainer that is unsuited to you. Make sure your trainer is qualified to your goals, training style, and provides quality care. After an in person training session, you may be wondering what to do afterwards or how to remember what you learned, which may be met with limitations. (our HEALTHY TOOL GUIDE can assist you with this challenge). You may be able to find cheaper programs in the form of pre-built PDFs or other options. PDFs can assist to a degree but may be designed for a quick sale of gimmicky approaches. You get what you pay for, and without degrading others, you may find out for yourself why these options may lack in comparison.
Our training program is curated from over a decade of experience working with clients to achieve real results. From the self-paced programs to in depth 12-week coaching, you will receive:
- A training program specifically tailored based on your assessment. Removing redundancies that reduce your efficiency and will adapt based on your progress or pitfalls.
- Online coaching sessions that will keep your education and direction focused on exactly what you need. Developing building blocks around your questions, training progress, and motivation.
- We also provide a HEALTHY TOOL GUIDE that breaks down exercises in depth, so you know how to perform them correctly. HTG can also be subscribed to separately from a training program. If you are still unsure if you are performing a movement correctly, you may contact your coach to correct or change the exercise.
- If having that physical accountability partner is important to you, I would recommend our BUDDY SYSTEM PROGRAM. Having a partner helps increase the likelihood of success. This allows you and an individual of your choice to work together at a discounted rate. You both know and perform that week’s diet and fitness goals. At the gym, your partner may serve as an extra set of eyes to assist with proper form and execution of the fitness plan. When the going gets tough, you’ll have a buddy and a coach to grow through the experience.
The self paced option allows you to work at your speed. You will still receive:
An assessment to tailor your program
A workout routine with included progression days (based on your assessment).
1 coaching session to review progress and make necessary adjustments
This is a great option for those who want to just dip their toes into personal training, who have a solid foundation and may just want adjustments in training plans, a long term option from full coaching, and those who want extra flexibility in their training.
Note that this program differs from the 12 week coaching in a few ways:
Limited workout variation with little adjustments
Total of 1-2 sessions with a coach, compared to 13
Focus ONLY on Fitness or Nutrition depending on program enrollment
Nutrition is the most important part of training. Proper knowledge and habits around what we intake can make or break your progress. These protocols adjust based on many factors especially if changing our weight or energy is involved.
Since the 12 week program includes nutritional coaching, the Nutrition Fundamentals course is perfect for those looking to just work on their diet. We break it down into simple steps based on your initial assessment and goals. Individual coaching may vary but includes:
An initial assessment to build a baseline
4 total coaching sessions (including initial meeting). Going through the pros, cons, and goals to focus on for the next week.
Understand what calories are and ratios you should focus on
Build healthy habits in small steps with weekly adjustments
*Calorie breakdown and supplement guidance tailored to you*
*Meal plan programming/ guidance*
Ability to grow with progressive nutritional coaching after the fundamentals course!
Meal planning, calorie breakdowns, and supplement recommendation not applicable to all clients. Foundational habits and proper knowledge of nutrition practice are prioritized first.
It can take roughly 60 days to build a new habit, and over 90 days to break an old one. The program is 12 weeks reflecting this growth cycle. During which time you will receive comprehensive fitness and nutrition coaching tailored to you. With weekly coaching sessions, your program will continually adjust to your progress and needs. Included with your program:
An initial assessment and goal setting
Fitness and nutrition education and programming specific to you
Weekly coaching sessions*
Weekly program adaptions
Program worksheets
HEALTHY TOOL GUIDE training library included during the 12-week program. Monthly billing afterwards to maintain access to the library.
Special rates for long term training programs!
*Assessment is scheduled for 60mins. Coaching sessions are scheduled for 45mins. Actual time may vary based on a variety of factors.
For those that need extra assistance, the Redline 12-week program may be the right choice for you. Includes all the above + upgraded to 2x/ week coaching sessions.
After your 12 week coaching program. You may choose between:
Continue uninterrupted with long term discounts starting after 36 weeks.
You may transition to a self-paced program to receive continued support and adjustments without a 12-week commitment.
Take what you’ve learned and go forward on your own. We will be here when you are ready to return.
Success is not guaranteed. Utilizing proper training programs and quality coaching may increase the likelihood of success. These tools applied properly will assist in building routines, habits, and momentum aimed to your goals. We work with you to make your success a priority; however, it is ultimately up to you.
